Current music:The Fray - How to Save a Life

This most assuredly counts, She says most assuredly
This year for Christmas, Jay will be spending the holidays with me. Hopefully this will distract me again from my painfully living arangements with my mother and her disgusting boyfriend.

And we've been talking about what we want to get each other for Christmas. This year, unlike every Christmas I've ever had, we won't be doing a lot of presents. This year has been hard on my family. Both of my parents lost their jobs and didnt get new ones. My dad is really ill, as usual. My mom's doing all she can to keep me in school and pay her bills. It kinda breaks my heart to see her trying to get like a early morning 5am something shift at the mall just to make some extra money to keep me at school. Anyways.

So I think for Jay's gift, I'll be just buying him a nice outfit. Maybe like a nice button down shirt from the gap and some pants, and a watch. I don't have any money left so hopefully the few hours I can work at the Bead store again will give me some christmas cash for presents. I want to get him a nice outfit because he kinda dresses like a thug, and he said he needed something to wear with me to midnight mass. Because I want to go this year.

And then after I get my parents and sister something, I want to give my remaining money to charity. Jay said he would help me with that, so that makes me happy. Even though life is harder than it ever has been for my family, the only way that I can keep myself from entering that depression I've been in is to think that I can still make a difference in someone's life. Some people still have it harder than I do, and I can help those people. Knowing that in my heart actually makes me feel happy, unlike when people tell you, "dont worry, things will get better." Because maybe they won't. But for now, I can help someone else who might feel as helpless as me.

So I know Jay and I will be contributing a donation to Child's Play Charity, because we're both gamers, but I'm going to see about some local charities too. If anyone has any good suggestions that arnt the standard Salvation Army.... let me know. :)

...and is spending his days recording songs about Russian teenage girls in his new IN HOUSE STUDIO.

INSANE. If it doesn't work out with your mom's bf, tell her to call my dad!

I am glad your boy will be with you for Christmas!
